Pacific Hidden Paradise<\/h2>\n

Crossing the west mountain range in the Valley you will be surprised to find a destination in Colombia that is not mentioned frequently and yet it hides one of its most magical secretes. After a 20 minutes boat ride inside the bay of Buenaventura until\u00a0 \u201cCulebrero\u201d stuary where you will be challenged with a two hours walk through the humid jungle until Bahia Malaga one of the most biodiverse places in the world, discover beautiful waterfalls, natural pools and impressive wetlands. After lunch, relax on a golden sand beach before heading back to Cali. It is here, that between the waves you will encounter dolphins, whales (during certain seasons) and a lot more sea life, the local community has held their culture tight as back as colonization with its traditional drinks, cuisine, beliefs and festivities. This popular yet new national park was protected back in 2012 when its local residents stopped multi nationals from building in their fishing village and through court they defended their rights to this land and protected it from industrialization; today it stands as a testament to culture and the power of community, that is why the park was named Uramba, which means union in a traditional west African language. We will venture into the jungle where we can dive in to its rivers, cascades and wonder at its unique beauty, natural pools and scenery.
