Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival
Our adventure begins at the Juan Casiano de Guapi-Cauca airport, where we will be waiting for you to transfer you to the tourist pier in a moto-taxi (local transport), at 12:30 noon the boat is scheduled to leave for the island in a tour of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes (depending on the weather conditions of the day), upon arrival in Gorgona, you will be received by officials of the concession, natural national parks and the national army,
Your first stop will be beach patrol, where the entrance to the national park is paid and officers of the navy will carry out a luggage check to make sure that nothing prohibited enters the park, followed by this you will have lunch, you will settle in the rooms and you will receive a induction by national parks on behavior, security and conservation protocols on the island.
Day 2: Whale watching, Palmeras Beach and old Prison.
You will receive your breakfast and we start the first activity of the day, the encounter with the humpback whales, this tour begins by boarding a boat from the town to open seas and finishing at Round Stones, from there you will walk along an ecological path demarcated in the jungle for around 35 minutes, after this time you will have Arrived at Playa Palmeras, one of the only ones with the title of sustainable beach, in which you can rest, sunbathe and appreciate gorgonilla, you will return to the town to have lunch, and in the afternoon we visit the old prison, tour which lasts approximately 35 minutes, and takes place in the old prison facilities, where a little more is known about the history of the island.
Day 3: Yundigua Beach
The third day after receiving breakfast we carry out the third scheduled activity, this activity begins in the town where you will walk 1 hour and 30 minutes along a demarcated path in the northeastern part of the island, at the end of this tour you will arrive at yundigua beach, a beach where you can carry out the taxi activity if you wish, you will have the afternoon free to rest and enjoy the town.
Day 4: Departure
On the 4th day you will have your breakfast early in the morning and you will leave the island by boat at 7:30 am on a 1 hour and 30 minute trip to Guapi, Cauca, upon arrival we will transfer you to the Juan Casiano airport where our adventure ends. Be safe!
